Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 2026 · Wila, package social.wila.app
Wila is a social video chat service for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account, appear on camera, or be depicted in the app.
Published standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation
- Any sexual content involving a minor, any suggestion of it, and any attempt to move a minor into a private conversation is prohibited.
- Accounts that fail the age check are permanently blocked. Birth date cannot be edited after confirmation.
- We review user reports. Confirmed child-safety violations are removed, the account is banned, and we report to the relevant regional authority and, where required, to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or the equivalent local body.
- We do not sell user data. Live video is streamed in real time and is not recorded by Wila by default.
How to report
Use the in-app Report button on a profile, message, or call and choose “Underage concern”. You can also email business@wila.social. Include the user ID, the time of the call, and what you saw. We aim to review child-safety reports within 24 hours.
